Peruvian Corporacion Aceros Arequipa announced that it will expand its Pisco (Ico)-based plant. The company plans to invest USD 40 million in the project. The expectation is that the facility will reach the production of 600,000 metric tons next year. In 2006, the facility produced 400,000 metric tons of steel products.
